Matt Economy, PT, MSPT, COMT
Matt has been the clinic director at Therapy Partners since 2014. Originally from Winterport, Maine, Matt received most of his training in Nashville, Tennessee. He then moved back to his hometown with his wife to start a family and continue his passion as a physical therapist. Matt is now is the proud parent of a busy little boy and two usually well-behaved dogs. Matt received his bachelors degrees from the University of New Hampshire in Exercise Physiology and his post graduate degree from North Georgia College and State University in Physical Therapy. He has been a therapist for over ten years, and he became a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist in 2007. In 2014, Matt was a member of the committee that brought dry needling to physical therapy in the State of Maine. Matt enjoys playing hockey, skiing, snowboarding, and brewing.
Carley Packard, PTA
Carley Packard is a Physical Therapist Assistant in the Belfast office. She graduated in 2002 from Hesser College in Manchester, NH with her Associates of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant. She worked in Norway, Maine in skilled nursing facilities as well as outpatient orthopedic care for 15 years. She moved to the Midcoast in Jan 2018 with her husband and two children when she joined the Therapy Partners team in Belfast, Maine. Over the years, she has gained knowledge in and specializes in women's health issues, joint replacements, kineso taping, myofascial release, and manual therapy techniques as well as many other orthopedic conditions.
Robard Abraham, PT, DPT, WCC
Before moving to Maine, Robard owned and managed a rehab company that provided out-patient, home health, and acute care physical therapy. Robard holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He is also board certified in wound care. He joins us with over 20 years of experience. Robard is passionate in helping patients achieve long-term health benefits. He is enthusiastic in joining Therapy Partners, LLC. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his wife, Mercedes and daughter, Jade. He loves gardening, fishing, skiing, and raising livestock.

Rick Robinson, Owner
Rick Robinson started Therapy Partners LLC in 2014. Prior to owning Therapy Partners, Rick was a Partner with US Physical Therapy. US Physical Therapy is based in Houston Texas and nearly 600 locations Nationwide. Rick spent 17 years with US Physical Therapy developing clinics in the State of Maine. Working with this company he gained invaluable experience in clinic operations, development, marketing, employee relations and community needs. At one point in his career Rick was overseeing the operations of 9 locations from Machias to Rockport. In late 2014, Rick left his Partnership with US Physical Therapy and opened Therapy Partners, LLC. At that time, he had 3 locations and 10 employees, today Therapy Partners has 5 locations and over 20 employees and they continue to grow. “I learned a lot of valuable lesson from my time with USPT.” I think the most important lesson I try to implement each day is treat your employees fairly and value them. My personal motto is “ Surround yourself with strong capable people, they will make your job easier and make you look good”
Tanya Clement, PT, DPT
Tanya received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from Husson College in 2004. She started working primarily in the outpatient setting but also treated inpatients at a hospital in addition to providing care in the home health setting. She then decided to pursue furthering her education while working in an outpatient clinic and graduated from Husson University in 2009 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Tanya has spent the last 13 years working in an outpatient clinic treating all types of injuries including orthopedics, sports injuries, work-related injuries and chronic pain. She provides a manual therapy treatment approach and has a special interest in treating spine disorders, TMJ dysfunction and vertigo. Tanya lives with her husband, Brian, and their two Labrador retrievers, Braydon and Browan. In her spare time, Tanya enjoys spending time with family and friends, weekends at camp, going for motorcycle rides and traveling.
Taryn Pineo, PT, DPT
Taryn is a physical therapist at the new location of Therapy Partners in Bangor, Maine. Taryn holds a BS in Kinesiology and Doctorate in Physical Therapy, both from Husson University. She has been practicing in outpatient orthopedic settings since graduating in 2017. Taryn enjoys working with the geriatric population to improve their mobility and quality of life. In her spare time she likes spending time with friends and family, doing escape rooms and do-it-yourself projects.
