Matt Economy, PT, MSPT, COMT
Matt has been the clinic director at Therapy Partners since 2014. Originally from Winterport, Maine, Matt received most of his training in Nashville, Tennessee. He then moved back to his hometown with his wife to start a family and continue his passion as a physical therapist. Matt received his bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire in Exercise Physiology and his post-graduate degree from North Georgia College and State University in Physical Therapy. He has been a therapist for over 10 years. He became a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist in 2007. In 2014, Matt was a committee member that brought dry needling to physical therapy in the State of Maine. Matt enjoys playing hockey, skiing, snowboarding, and brewing. Matt is now is the proud father of a busy little boy and two usually well-behaved dogs.
Carley Packard, PTA
Carley Packard is a Physical Therapist Assistant in the Belfast office. She graduated in 2002 from Hesser College in Manchester, NH, with her Associates of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant. She worked in Norway, Maine, in skilled nursing facilities and outpatient orthopedic care for 15 years. She moved to the Midcoast in January 2018 with her husband and two children when she joined the Therapy Partners team in Belfast, Maine. Over the years, she has gained knowledge and specializes in women's health issues, joint replacements, kineso taping, myofascial release, and manual therapy techniques, as well as many other orthopedic conditions.
Stephanie Costa, PT Assistant
Stephanie graduated from Bay State College, Boston, Massachusetts, in 2005, earning an associate's degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Since then, she has been practicing in outpatient orthopedic settings helping patients who have endured physical setbacks regain independent lifestyles. Stephanie enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, and skiing.

Rick Robinson, Owner
Rick Robinson started Therapy Partners LLC in 2014. Before owning Therapy Partners, Rick was a Partner with US Physical Therapy. US Physical Therapy is based in Houston, Texas, and nearly 600 locations Nationwide. Rick spent 17 years with US Physical Therapy developing clinics in the State of Maine. Working with this company, he gained invaluable clinical operations, development, marketing, employee relations, and community needs. At one point in his career, Rick was overseeing nine locations from Machias to Rockport. In late 2014, Rick left his Partnership with US Physical Therapy and opened Therapy Partners, LLC. At that time, he had three locations and 10 employees. Today, Therapy Partners has five locations and over 20 employees. They continue to grow. “I learned a lot of valuable lessons from my time with USPT. The most important lesson I try to implement each day is to treat your employees fairly and value them. My personal motto is to surround yourself with strong, capable people. They will make your job easier and make you look good.”
Taryn Pineo, PT, DPT
Taryn is a physical therapist at the new location of Therapy Partners in Bangor, Maine. Taryn holds a BS in Kinesiology and Doctorate in Physical Therapy, both from Husson University. She has been practicing in outpatient orthopedic settings since graduating in 2017. Taryn enjoys working with the geriatric population to improve their mobility and quality of life. In her spare time, she likes spending time with friends and family. She does escape rooms and do-it-yourself projects.
Bart Hotchkin, DPT
Bart spent most of his youth at Loring Air Force Base and his high school years in Kennebunk. Bart completed both his undergraduate and professional graduate education at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychobiology in 2000 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2003. Bart began his clinical practice in New Jersey, but following their first son’s birth, he and his wife, Nicole, decided to return to Maine. They moved to the Belfast area in 2007. While in Belfast, Bart had the opportunity to work at Bay View Physical Therapy and Seaport Community Health Center before joining Therapy Partners in 2020. Besides his professional clinical practice, Bart enjoys being involved in youth athletics. He enjoys mountain biking and other outdoor activities. Bart currently lives in Lincolnville, Maine, with his wife and their two sons.
Sheryl Roberts, SLPA
I am a retired army nurse (primarily pediatrics) that switched careers after 20 years in the army. I had always been Interested in speech and language so decided to go back to school and start a second career. I love working with children and helping them to reach their full potential. It's wonderful to see a child reach their goals and beyond and even more wonderful when they recognize just what they are capable of!
